About the Creator

Game maker, doodler, flak catcher

Ever since I was in 5th grade, I made games. My first game was a Darkest Dungeon knockoff: I watched a person play DD, and I really wanted to play, but I had no idea how to get it, so I made a card game inspired by it. The entertainment-starved kids around me instantly gravitated towards it. After countless lunch times of hosting and calculating damage, I finally realized the joys of having others play my game.

Gentlemen of War was created right before Covid started. I discussed the idea of simultaneous turns with the board game club, went home, and created the game in a weekend. Everyone liked it, and with the quarantine, I had nothing to do but refine the game and make it better and better. I had always dreamt of publishing a game, what if this was the one?

Two years later, I finally decided: this is the year the world sees my creation.

Young me would be pretty happy about all this.
